Athletes and Parents/Guardians,

School is almost out and summer is right around the corner. It is time to start our annual summer strength and conditioning program (incoming 9th – 12th graders) here at Life High School Waxahachie. This year the times are been adjusted to help ensure that our athletes have an opportunity to continue to train for the upcoming season(s). Our program will provide general strength training and speed/agility skills to the athletes that participate, in addition to the two specific sport hours per week. The program will start on June 3 and conclude on July 18. The scheduled times for these workouts are 8am-10am (Sport specific training is girls’ basketball and softball 10:30-11:30am on Mondays & Wednesdays and volleyball 10:30-11:30am on Tuesdays & Thursdays unless there are camps scheduled here). During the week of July 4, facilities will be closed. It is very import that these athletes attend as many workouts as possible for reaching their goals. We as a coaching staff understand that summer vacations and other summer related activities will conflict with some of the workouts; we just ask to be informed of these issues.
